How To Format Your ChatGPT Prompts

You can create more than just text responses in AI Tools...

How to Use ‘Formatting’ In AI Tools Like ChatGPT

You’ve definitely been playing around with various AI tools at this point.

Whether it be jumping into ChatGPT, Google Bard, Bing AI Chat or even Adobe Photoshop’s Generative AI Fill tool, but there are so many other things you can do.

In this article, we’ll jump into some of the more useful examples that I’ve found help on the day to day.

Favorite AI tool of the week!

AI Music is still in an ‘earlier’ stage, but AI is nothing new to the music industry or any digital audio workspace (DAW) utilized today.

Music LM is part of the Google AI Test Kitchen, and you can register your interest to get involved.

This is a Text-to-Music tool that can generate short 30 second songs from just your words.

Why not give it a try?

Use your words to craft drafted songs.

📊 Making Tables!

Many AI tools can create tables for specific searches and prompts you may have for it.

Here we have an example from Bing AI Chat where we have asked it to create a general budgetting table based off expenses and aligned to my goals.

Although the above may be very useful as a start to budgetting, it’s important to be extra clear in the prompt.

Here’s the example I used:

From the above, I included the following types of information to help the AI provide what I am looking for:

💰 How much I am earning per month, and my rent

🌎 Where in the world I am living, and the city

🤔 My objective and aim, in this case the 10% I wish to save

🖥️ The specific table to create, specifying what each column is for

The above of course is just an example of what you can ask an AI tool to help with, and you should adapt it to your goals!

Writing Draft Articles Or Social Media Posts

You can continue to expand the ‘format’ type by creating more specific prompts.

With Bing AI Chat, it managed to write a very generic social media post focused on AI for me:
