Chatbots, although not a new bit of technology have become a potential way forward for those who continue to struggle with mental health.

Therapy continues to be expensive and elusive.

During COVID-19 lockdowns, young adults were hugely affected by loneliness.

Many people may not have anyone they can turn to.

AI Chatbots have become more of an option for us. Chatbots are computer programs that can chat with us through text or voice, using natural language processing and machine learning.

It can be like a virtual friend who is always there for us, whenever we need it.

But it’s important to understand that these chatbots ARE NOT to replace qualified GPs, Therapists, Psychiatrists and Psychologists.

Could AI Tools Like HeyPi Be Useful?

HeyPi has been built on a similar design as ChatGPT, Bing AI Chat and Google Bard but takes a more emotional and empathetic tone.

Currently free, this source can be used as a personal assistant, but many have also been able to have deeper conversations with it.
