Could AI Help Your With Journaling?

An incredible new tool that could help supercharge your journalling.

The AI Journal You Haven’t Heard Of

Journaling is an extremely important part of the lives of people around the world. From diaries, notes, video-logs (vlogs) and any other forms of personal reflection, keeping a journal helps you not only understand yourself, the world around you but also helps you look back and ahead.

In this mid-week newsletter, I’d like to cover a brand new AI Tool I’ve found called Mindsera.

It’s More Than Just a Notepad

Mindsera looks to create an environment that directly prompts and encourages you to open up and to write. It celebrates consistency, detail and your ability to reflect.

However, I would call this tool more of a Co-Pilot rather than a direct journaling tool.

A simplistic layout focuses on you rather than the tool.

As you write your journal entry, a feature appears on the right side which prompts certain questions to help you answer and enhance your thoughts further.

Although you can absolutely ignore this and continue to write to your hearts-content, I found that this feature just helps to remove any form of writers block and to include a bit more detail rather than straining your mind to find more.

In a reflective process, this tool could be quite useful as slight nudge.

The Premium Features

Once you start to shift into the premium (paid) mode, the true power of Mindsera begins to appear.

This involves aspects such as:

  • Analyzing text to challenge, support and give alternative perspectives

  • Engage in a more ‘mentoring’ approach to help you open up further

  • Scanning for trends and potential irrational thinking to help challenge your thoughts.

Other features such as voice-journaling and a more prominent mobile interface, a lot of the new upcoming features aim to increase accessibility to the tool, and to help keep you in that flow-state.

It’s still early days, but Mindsera places AI in a much more personal place and it’s exciting to see this technology bend in a new way.

AI Image of the Week

Bit of a treat this week as our image is from my favorite Text-To-Image platform: Midjourney!
